This deluxe, handmade limited monograph features 18 color still-life photographs by Gabriela Iancu. The book includes an artist statement by Gabriela and a curatorial statement by Mihaela Cristea, who has organized the first solo exhibition of the artist’s retrospective in 2014, at the Alexandru Stefulescu Museum, Romania. The volume includes an in-depth essay by Gabriela that explores the role of photography in capturing an impossible reality which should connect mankind back to nature.
